From 2018, Israel's emergency services will be hit with a crisis - the current communication devices which are used in emergency situations will become outdated and discontinued.

This means that ZAKA must immediately replace the smartphones for at least 600 volunteers who are on call 24/7 throughout Israel.

The phones serve as a vital communication tool in receiving emergency life-saving calls and other operational needs. The new phones will literally save lives. They carry sophisticated apps and incorporate state-of-the-art technology that will improve the efficacy and speed of a ZAKA volunteer's response to a call for help. They include GPS technology, the ability to create communications groups limited to the ZAKA volunteers dealing with a particular incident and much more.
