Because no one should have to experience life in Israel alone and without support.

You are reading this because you care about olim. You understand that moving to Israel isn’t the end of a journey, but the beginning of one. And you know that to truly “make it” in the Jewish homeland, it takes a strong community of supporters.

It is hard especially for lone soldiers, ba’ale teshuvah, converts, potential converts, and senior citizens that leave their extended family behind by moving to Israel. Differences in culture and language, religion and employability…. These are just some of the reasons that many people who move to Israel end up moving back to their country of origin.

Take Marissa, for example. Marissa couldn’t find a job in Israel, and her bills were piling up. To make matters worse, she was hit by a car. Her insurance refused to pay her medical expenses. Marissa grew depressed, angry, scared. She had never felt more alone. She bought a plane ticket to take her back home.

Luckily, there are people like you who don’t just feel badly for olim like Marissa who fail to acclimate into Israeli society; you act on it!

That’s why we ask you today to donate to Yiboneh. Your donation will go directly to providing olim with the emotional, spiritual, and physical support they need to flourish in Israel. You can provide opportunities for olim like Marissa to perform true chesed.

Because of you, they will have access to networking events, increase their job prospects and social events to meet other people with similar values.

Because of you, a generation of new Israelis will attend self-improvement classes based on Torah principles. These classes impart Hebrew language skills, tools for character refinement, and guided encouragement toward a Torah-based lifestyle.

Because of you, Yiboneh will be able to increase its amount of social welfare volunteer hours significantly. Our expansion plan, with your help, is to boost the amount of volunteer hours specifically with the elderly - increasing spiritual and emotional support and contributing to a higher quality of life.

The result? An authentic Jewish education that helps olim become better people and more likely to thrive in Israel…. All thanks to you.
