Our Fire Station, Union Fire Association – Station 28, needs your help. Our volunteer fire company is funded, managed, and staffed by a very special group of people: You. Founded in 1903, we have served Bala Cynwyd and Merion by fighting fires and responding to emergencies. Much has changed over the last 118 years, but our commitment to safety and excellence has remained the same.

This year we are embarking on a major fundraising campaign to help us improve the services that we provide. This is our first major campaign in over a decade and we are counting on your help to raise $118,000.00. These funds will support everything from equipment purchases to maintenance of our firehouse to projects and programs to recruit and retain volunteer firefighters.

Our firefighters are volunteers that are comprised of your family members, your neighbors and your friends, that like you, have families, careers, and other responsibilities. Yet when you are in need, when you find yourself in the worst of times, they will drop what they are doing and they will be there for you.
