In these challenging times, there is nothing more inspiring than our girls at DROR!

Despite the lockdowns and all the uncertainty, our girls continue to take classes on Zoom, meet with their tutors, and prepare for those all-important matriculation exams.

Together, they are keeping their eyes on the prize: the feeling of success that comes from social involvement, academic achievement, and sports training.

DROR was founded in Riki’s and Racheli’s memory and aspires to empower teen girls, support them and give them the essential tools to grow, build self-esteem and be courageous.

DROR programming consists of targeting tutoring for our girls, three or four days a week. One afternoon is designated for sports, volunteering and socialization, but these have been mostly omitted due to COVID regulations.

The tutors act as mentors for the girls, both as role models, sharing knowledge of both academics and of life. The girls' academic progress directly affects their self-esteem, which motivates them further to invest in their studies.

At DROR, we cultivate success through our growth mindset, seeing failure as momentary, related to specific tasks undertaken, and able to be improved upon with the right resources, tools, investment and effort.
