While many imagine the Holy Land as a warm desert, in most parts of Israel this is not the case. The winter winds are brutal and the evenings are frigid and damp. Sometimes, poor, elderly survivors cannot leave their homes even to be fed by an area soup kitchen. So they sit at home, cold and alone.
Holocaust survivors have already suffered so much.
Provide a winter miracle - clothe and feed them in their days.
It says in the Leviticus: “You shall rise before the aged and show deference to the old; you shall fear your God: I am Hashem” (19:32). And we read in Psalm 71:9, “Do not cast me off in old age; when my strength fails, do not forsake me!”
Each donation of $50 a month, can feed a Holocaust survivor for a year.
Israel365 is committing the next year to feeding, clothing and bringing joy to Israel's elderly.
Watch Rabbi Tuly each month as he visits these survivors.
"Meet" the survivors on live video.
Send your own blessings to them via Facebook comments or email.
