You may not know Rachel, but you can help her choose a life worth living.
Rachel is 18, and her time with his foster family has officially come to an end. Now is her moment of truth. Many children like Rachel end foster care with nowhere to turn to. Rachel wants to run as far away from his traumatic past as possible, but to where? She has already turned her back on her parents that raised her. Her entire future - her education, social life, mental stability - hangs in the balance: will she go down the same road that led her biological mother to drugs and alcohol? Or will she find a more productive future, a future that has promise?
A simple click will help Rachel get the resources she needs to find a job and a grow towards a life and social circle that will support and nurture her.
Rachel has been through too much in her life to dive deeper into despair. What she needs is therapeutic and scholastic support. What she needs is your help.
By donating to the Summit Institute, you can help Israeli young adults ending their foster care experience. These men and women sit on the bleeding edge of the “at-risk” spectrum. Too many of them fall into crushing debt or worse.
You are their last resort.
The Summit Institute will provide them with the support they need to help them gain the sense of security and of professional direction. Because of you, we will help them discover their talents and abilities that will lead them to career advancement. Your gift to the Summit Institute gives young Israelis like Rachel a future.
During this celebration of Israel’s birthday, a generous donor has agreed to match every dollar you donate. That means your gift and your impact will be DOUBLED! But this campaign is ALL OR NOTHING.
The matching gift only kicks in if we reach our goal. The clock is ticking both for this campaign and for the young adults in dire straits. Please give and show Rachel that there the bright, bright future that lies ahead.
