Drained by negative news on the daily, we can no longer watch the violence in Israel without taking action.

But what does taking action for peace mean?  Is this a protest? Are we left or right?  The answer is simple. Peace is not about politics or protests - it's about PEOPLE.  

With both proof and intuition, we KNOW that incredible things happen when women gather together. In fact, research shows that involving women in peacebuilding increases the probability that violence will end by 24%. IMAGINE what will happen when women of all backgrounds and cultures- whether they are Jewish, Arab, Christian, religious or secular - join together on a mission to genuinely connect, create stronger relationships, and lead the way to bridging barriers within our borders. Women can be the driving force behind peace building - and it starts now.

To take a true stand against terror, we must create a space in which the women of our country can build relationships and connect to other leaders, enabling a basis for future collaboration on how to empower our one collective community towards living in peace.

On March 4, in honor of International Women’s Day, Soul Sisters will gather its one-of-a-kind community of leaders who will, over the course the next year, blaze a path towards a shared future.

Through an inspiring one-stage event in Tel Aviv, Soul Sisters will provide a transformative and uplifting environment through a series of interactive and creative activities, such as inspirational speakers and workshops, performers, collaborative art projects, dance, yoga, photography and video, and eye-contact experiments to name a few.  Soul Sisters is the first step in a series of continued collaborations, conversations, events and workshops that will lead us towards the ultimate goal: peace. 

But Soul Sisters cannot happen without you. This history-shaping event needs your help, and it needs it now.  We have over 20 collaborating organizations who are donating time, equipment and energy to create this experience for our community. The event is being organized and staffed entirely by volunteers, but we need funding for essentials such as permits, security, cleanup, utilities, and more.

By helping us launch this event, you are joining phase one of a much greater cause than any of us. You have an opportunity to create unity in a place where the divide grows larger every day.  A chance to bridge barriers within our borders. A chance to surpass what makes us different and celebrate what connects us as women of the world.
