Shurat HaDin has engaged in numerous legal battles against terrorists, their funders, and those who seek to delegitimize Israel’s right to exist. We go on the offensive against Israel’s enemies to secure a measure of justice for the victims by hitting terror organizations where it hurts them most - their pockets.
Richard Lakin was a lifelong peace activist dedicated to human rights and coexistence. He was a teacher, a father and a grandfather. Shortly after moving to Israel he started a school where Jewish, Christian and Muslim children learned together. On October 13, 2015, two Palestinian terrorists attacked a crowded civilian bus in Jerusalem. They shot 76-year-old Richard in the head and then brutally stabbed him multiple times, severing all of his major organs. Richard died two weeks later.
Now his son Micah is fighting back, and he needs your help.
Micah is the lead plaintiff in a case filed by Shurat HaDin against Facebook on behalf of some 20,000 Israelis to stop allowing Palestinian terrorists to incite violent attacks against Jews on its platform. Facebook's refusal to remove the flood of extremist content encourages imminent violence and fans the flames of continuing terrorist attacks.
For the past 8 months, Israel has been hit by a new wave of barbaric terrorism, fueled by Palestinian incitement on social media - which has left many victims in its wake.
Now more than ever, we need your help to fight terrorism and protect innocent life around the world.
As Israel celebrates its 68th year, we commemorate great sacrifices, as well as glorious victories. In this same spirit, you can make a difference in the lives of the terror victims and their families. Your donation to Shurat HaDin will help fund their battle for justice.
