You are reading this because you care about the next generation of young Jewish women who become our mothers and builders of Klal Yisrael.
You care about the students of Bnot Torah/Sharfman’s. You have seen for yourself that this is not just a school or your typical seminary. Sharfman’s is warmth and a seminary where you truly feel at home. Students transform into passionate learners and forever move in a positive direction. As part of the extended Sharfman’s family, you know this. You carry that Sharfman’s pride with you wherever you go.
That is why your donation is so vitally important.
You see, because of COVID-19, this coming year is going to look very different. Sharfman's will incur expenses - like proper hygiene supplies, modifying facilities and more - that we could have never predicted. And we worry for parents who have hit unexpected financial hardships.
Demand for scholarships has risen dramatically.
Plus, with a reduction of Masa scholarships to many students, the price tag for a year in yeshiva or seminary just jumped by thousands of dollars.
The year after high school is a crucial time. During this year, young women have the opportunity to lay down a foundation of Torah knowledge and acquire tools for lfe and tools for living. They can spend time forming a connection with a Mechanechet or Rakezet who will guide them through life’s greatest challenges. They can position themselves to be Bnot Torah.
Or, they can skip it and leave their futures to chance.
We prepare to open our doors and warmly welcome the next group of Sharfman’s students into our seminary. Ready to pass on the eternal flame of Torah and become true Bnot Torah. When you donate to Bnot Torah/Sharfman’s, you make sure that no student is turned away.
You may not realize just how much the Sharfman’s experience relies on people like you. Especially this year.
Every dollar you donate will go to COVID-19 related expenses and scholarships. Your gift will go directly to making sure that our girls have everything they need. Whether that means more protective, hygienic supplies like thermometers and face masks, modifications to classrooms and the Beit Midrash…or scholarships to make sure that no one is turned away due to financial constraints.
You can make this experience a reality. Every dollar is an investment in the students who walk through our door.
