Turn Tunnels of Terror into Tunnels of Torah
Build a rocket-proof dormitory to keep the students of the Max and
Ruth Schwartz Sderot Hesder Yeshiva safe

Your donation to the Max and Ruth Schwartz Sderot Hesder Yeshiva keeps the students of our yeshiva safe.

These young men are dedicated to Torah and to defending the Jewish homeland. They come from all across Israel to study at this prestigious yeshiva. These young hesder students are a stabilizing force in their community and the entire south of Israel.

The fields around Sderot are burning as a result of “fire kites” sent from Gaza. Sderot homes - some right near the yeshiva - are the targets of rockets and bullets. But the students in the Sderot Yeshiva have a burning desire to keep on learning, spreading the light of Torah, and performing acts of chesed around the community.

The students of Sderot need your help and they need it now.

The students of Sderot need your help and they need it now.

Your donation to the Sderot Hesder Yeshiva will go directly to finishing the construction of a rocket-proof dormitory. When you donate, you support this makom Torah that sits just a mile from the Gaza border.

You can inspire this community in its battle against the terror war of Hamas. You can bring hope to a region while the fields around them burn from violent terrorists.

But the truth is that your gift does so much more.

That’s because this dormitory is being built in memory of Rebbetzin Goldie Fendel, wife of legendary Jewish educator Rabbi Meyer Fendel and mother of Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Dovid E. Fendel.

Goldie Fendel, a”h, was a driving force of the Sderot yeshiva.

Because of her vision, the yeshiva has grown into a hub of Torah and ahavat eretz Yisrael. It was not only her dedication to students that made Rebbetzin Fendel such an admired figure. It was also her tremendous warmth.

As one student said in memoriam, “She was such an outstanding baalas chesed who cared about each person individually, aside from her help to the Jewish community as a whole.”

Now, in the middle of the Israel’s south, Torah is blooming.

What many people do not realize is how much the young men of the Sderot Yeshiva depend on the generosity of people like you. People who care about the future of Israel. People who want to play an active role in keeping the next generation of Jewish leaders safe.

That’s why it’s so crucial that you donate today and finish the construction of our dormitory. $1,000,000 has already been raised towards this effort and now we need YOU! We need $500,000 by June 6th to make this dream a reality.

  • Because of you, our students will be protected from Israel’s enemies.
  • Because of you, they will fall asleep knowing that their dormitory is reinforced and secure.
  • Because of you, these young men will continue to anchor the whole region socially, educationally, and spiritually.

It can’t happen without you.

Please give today. Give in memory of Rebbetzin Fendel. Give to keep our students safe.
