Madrid Jewish Student Center
Now it's time to dream of a better world

Two years ago, we started MJSC.

It wasn’t the ‘right time’; it never is. It’s never the ‘right time’ to start a project, nor the ‘right time’ to get married, nor the ‘right time’ to change, to improve…There’s always a valid reason to wait.

MJSC was a dream, and despite the time not being quite ‘right’, together, we embarked on this project; we decided that a project that sought to improve the lives of our young Jews did not depend on the time being ‘right’. A project that seeks to build a community that is solid and strong cannot afford to be done at the ‘right’ time; it needs to be done now.

All of this has been possible with the help of your kind and generous donations.

During the current crisis, MJSC seeks to continue giving to its young Jews; we are making every effort to support and invest in their futures as members of the global Jewish community. More now than ever, our young Jews depend on us, and on your kind donations, to make sense of what is happening to and around them.

As you can imagine, the virus has had an unfortunate effect on the financial future of MJSC. Nevertheless, we are already getting ready for the “day after”, so that we may, Hashem willing, re-open the doors of MJSC, and once again gather, celebrate, learn and travel at a time where our young Jews will be needing it the most.

In order to realize our vision, we are counting on your generous and kind donations to meet our goal of 30,000 euros on May 19th. With your generous contributions, you will be participating in the future of so many young Jews, a future of Jewish values that will encourage them to be active and committed members of their Jewish communities.

Since the start of MJSC and till today, the passion and love that made us start the project has inspired many. We have received help and encouragement from volunteers, donors, local institutions based in Madrid, and in particular, unwavering support from the Madrid Jewish Community (CJM).

For the past two years, we have seen MJSC help hundreds of young students and young professionals in both their private and professional lives through Jewish framework. Thanks to those who work on the MJSC project, we have seen countless events, gatherings, dinners, parties and trips abroad that have opened the minds of so many young Jews.

In these times of uncertainty, our journey as the Jewish people does not cease, and your support and investment in our project is needed now more than ever.

Tell your story. Why did you donate to Madrid Jewish Student Center?
