We need your help to keep the Mitzvos Hateluyos Baaretz alive!

The Beis Midrash for Halacha in Agriculture is the leading institution for applied learning of the Mitzvos Hateluyos Baaretz. 

Established 41 years ago and named in memory of HaGaon HaRav Yosef Elyashiv זצ"ל after his passing, the Beis Midrash is home to dozens of Talmidei Chachamim who study the Mitzvos Hateluyos Baaretz and their practical application. In addition, the Beis Midrash offers numerous classes and runs evening Kollels throughout the country for the study of the mitzvos of Eretz Yisrael.

It is thanks to the Torah learning of the Beis Midrash for Halacha in Agriculture and the many programs run by its Rabbanim under the guidance of HaGaon HaRav Y.Y. Efrati שליט"א – a close talmid of Rav Elyashiv זצ"ל – that we are able to live in Eretz Yisrael in meticulous observance of the Mitzvos Hateluyos Baaretz. 

In recent years the Beis Midrash has faced great financial challenges which it has surmounted thanks to the generous donations of people like you, in Eretz Yisrael and abroad. 

The Covid-19 crisis has put an abrupt stop to our steady stream of donations. In addition, because of the crisis the Beis Midrash has been unable to maintain its income from its regular activities (for example, tours and educational programs for schools).

For several months now debt has accrued to the point where the future of the Beit Midrash is hanging in the balance. 

Under the present circumstances, we need the contributions of each and every one of you in order to raise the funds needed to maintain this great enterprise.

The campaign will take place on the eve of HaGaon HaRav Elyashiv’s 8th yahrtzeit.
