Shira has been dreaming about going to Michlalah since before she can remember. Shira’s older sisters went to Michlalah, her mother went to Michlalah, her camp counselor went to Michalah, her role models went to Michlalah. Even her 11 th grade Chumash teacher went to Michlalah.
Shira was looking forward to an inspiring year of Learning and Growth. She hoped to form connections with friends and teachers that would last a lifetime. She sees how her mentors and role models have been shaped by their Michlalah experience and she wants it too.
Unfortunately, Shira’s family was hit hard by COVID-19 and they now cannot afford to pay tuition. Shira is devastated, as she knows how transformative the year at Michlalah can be.
There have been so many requests for scholarships this year that Michlalah is unable to grant any more.
Perhaps you know Shira or someone in her situation. You definitely know the impact of a year at Michlalah: Learning in depth, studying from world-renowned Mechanchim and Mechanchot, internalizing what is learned to live a life of Torah, creating a sense of mission and aspiring to greatness, forming relationships with teachers and peers that last a lifetime, surrounded by the kedusha of Eretz Yisrael.
We are turning to you, so that you can help Shira’s dream become a reality.
Michlalah is launching a 48-hour campaign to raise much needed funds! This money can enable Shira and others attend Michlalah. Your donation will help staff, students and alumnae.
Donate now to grant the gift of Michlalah to others.
