Ma’agalim is a non-profit educational organization established from the belief that every at-risk youth is struggling to cope. We believe that every young adult, wherever they are, needs a guiding hand, support, and empowerment. It is our mission to influence, to act and to bring about change at an early stage.

For 20 years we have been doing just this: Thousands of small steps leading to a big change. Thousands of small interventions in the present - affecting the future.

With the help of talented counselors, who act as mentors, Ma’agalim reaches thousands of at-risk young men and women every year - helping them deepen social awareness, take responsibility for themselves and those around them, and strengthen their Jewish identity. We educate on the importance of military and national service in the State of Israel, and they emerge empowered and imbued with a sense of purpose. They go forward with a belief in their ability to achieve great things, they recognize their social commitment to influence, and understand that they have the resources required to cope with the challenges of life.

Twenty years of activity and thousands of young men and women prove to us every day the importance of Ma’agalim’s life-changing program., Now, we look towards the future to the other at-risk boys and girls who are in need of this support.

We want to expand our activities, produce additional programs and reach additional areas, but the resources at our disposal are limited, and we are forced to give up big ideas for lack of means.
