You may know a young person like Marissa.

Marissa is 12-years-old and in crisis. Over the last couple of months, small moments - a glance at an old picture, for example - have filled her with sadness. Since the summer, it takes her hours to fall asleep each night. And she cries more than she ever has before without even knowing why. Each day feels worse than the next.

Isolation, loneliness, anxiety, uncertainty, addictive behaviours - these are just some of the issues that have become far worse for young people like Marissa as a result of the pandemic.

Think about it: there are new rules when children like Marissa can see their friends and how they can socialise. Their school life - normally a beacon of stability - looks radically different than it did this time last year. For so many young people, their distress is palpable.

The mental health crisis facing our youth was enormous and growing, even before Covid. Now, in the midst of this pandemic, young people are struggling even more with the added uncertainties and the new realities we are all facing... and it's only getting worse.

This crisis demands a solution.

That's where you come in. You can give young people like Marissa the gift to uncover her own innate mental health; the gift of a healthy future… You can alleviate her inner anguish and show her that a bright future lies ahead, regardless of current circumstances.

Please donate to iheart today. Your donation will go directly to ensuring that the iheart mental health and wellbeing programme is delivered directly to young people in schools, youth organisations and community groups. Because of you, Marissa and many other children like her will learn how to relieve the pain when life simply feels too overwhelming.

Young people are calling out for help. They are telling us that they feel scared. That they feel desperate. That they don't know if their feelings are normal or healthy. That they don’t know what to do when they begin to spiral downwards with feelings of anxiety, depression, and loneliness.

But you can unleash the resiliency that children like Marissa have locked inside. You can help bring the revolutionary iheart principles to more young people all over the world.

Because of you, the iheart programme will enter more schools, more classrooms and more youth projects… and more young people like Marissa will gain the skills and confidence not just to cope... but to thrive.

Because of you, fewer children will suffer from depression and anxiety, self-harm and suicide… all thanks to your generosity.

Please open your heart and donate today. Please help bring iheart to more children all over the world. Help children like Marissa flourish. And help us to bring a solution to the mental health crisis facing our youth.

This cause is so important that we have set an ambitious goal to raise £300,000 by 10pm on Monday, November 30th. If we do not hit our goal, we simply won't have the resources to meet the growing demand caused by COVID.

For children like Marissa, your gift makes a world of difference. We don't have a moment to lose.

Thank you.
