When a tragedy hits a specific community, it is up to its inhabitants to gather together and take action. Recently, Ramat Bet Shemesh was deeply saddened to learn that Yigal of Yigal Nechasim had tragically died. His wife Sari faces the ultimate struggle in comforting and providing for her four daughters while they grieve for their father. There is no money for basic necessities, let alone money to marry off the girls. The RBS Kupah Shel Tzedaka has taken on the task of being the venue to help raise the necessary sums which will be needed now and for the immediate future.

Sari, Yigal’s wife, is a very special woman. She was a full partner in her husband, Yigal’s, legendary chesed activities. She took it upon herself to raise two Jewish orphans, in addition to her own four girls, hosted uncountable numbers of people for meals, and allowed her husband to lend out their car, and anything they owned to assist another. When Yigal’s once successful business went bankrupt, she had confidence that her husband would pay back every cent to their creditors and get back on his feet. Both knew that they could rely on one another to overcome every challenge. This couple gave whatever they had with full hearts to one another and to the community. Many beautiful stories of the chesed have come to light about Yigal that only the recipients knew.

Then Yigal became sick. Even while sick, when people asked him how he was, he answered that he was well and if it would not be too much trouble, to please daven for him. Sari left no address unturned in her search for the best medical care available and was at his side for the painful treatments that he had to endure. With his death, Sari has lost her partner in life, her anchor, her daughters’ father, and her main means of support.

Open your hearts to this wonderful family and help them get back to a measure of stability.
