You are reading this because you are a part of the Yeshivat Hakotel family.

You or someone you love has learned in Hakotel's famed Bet Midrash. You or someone you love has developed a love of Torah here, in viewing distance of the Kotel Hamaaravi and the Makom Hamikdash.

Chadeish Yameinu K’kedem: Yeshivat Hakotel is the place where the renewal of Am Yisrael is most keenly felt. Where the ancient stones of the Kotel meet the Yeshiva founded in the aftermath of the modern miracle of the Six Day War. Where the ageless Torah meets the modern values of Religious Zionism.

Over the years, the yeshiva has continuously tried to upgrade both the physical and spiritual sides of our mission of teaching Torah to our students and soldiers.

One area of the yeshiva that contains both these aspects, and sorely needs improvement, is our often-used libraries.

For over 50 years, students have come to Yeshivat Hakotel knowing that they will have the opportunity to delve deeply into every area of Torah knowledge. Gemara, Halacha, Tanach, Jewish Philosophy, Mussar, Chassidut, every area within the limitless corpus of Torah scholarship is open to our students, providing them with both depth and breadth.

To make learning of this nature possible, Yeshivat Hakotel maintains two libraries, besides the Bet Midrash. All students benefit from the Hebrew library, that has in it a large and diverse collection of seforim on all topics.

For the English-speaking students at Hakotel, there is an English library as well. Affectionately known as "the EL," the English library provides classic seforim in translation for those that need them. As the amount of Torah texts and scholarship available in English grows, Yeshivat Hakotel believes that our students should have the opportunity to take advantage of these crucial resources.

Yeshivat Hakotel has decided to renovate both the Hebrew and English libraries in memory of our founding Rosh Hayeshiva, Rav Chaim Yeshayahu Hadari זצ"ל, who passed away suddenly this year at age 84.

Following the Six-Day War, Rav Hadari זצ"ל, led a small group of Torah students in the Old City of Yerushalayim, creating Yeshivat Hakotel, one of Israel's first Hesder yeshivot.

The Hebrew library will become the Rav Chaim Yeshayahu Hadari זצ"ל Otzar Seforim which will include a special section for Rav Hadari's writings.

Both libraries will undergo significant upgrades, including new bookcases, computers, and, of course, new seforim.

Your gift is your declaration that you will continue to build this Makom Torah that has undoubtedly enriched your life.

You are part of the Yeshivat Hakotel family. And we can't write our next chapter without you.

Please give, and give generously.

We don't have a second to lose!
