Yeshivat Hakotel’s Emergency Corona Campaign
The corona pandemic has affected us all – our families, our jobs, and our summer plans- and has disrupted our daily life in totally unforeseen ways.
When feeling isolated, we lean most on family. Throughout the pandemic the Yeshivat Hakotel family has maintained and strengthened its kesher. As we prepare for the upcoming yeshiva year, we reach out to you- our family- to help us continue the connection.
The Yeshiva faces added expenses, including government budget cuts, and additional scholarship needs:
- Set up for Quarantine and Capsules
- Extra Programming Costs Throughout the Year
- Significant Government Budget Cuts (Over 60%)
- Very significant increase in scholarship needs due to MASA cuts and the general situation
On the other hand, if students are Chas V’Shalom unable to enter the country, we will need significant resources in order to continue paying staff and sustaining the yeshiva.
This week we intensify our mourning for the Beit HaMikdash and our yearning for our ge’ula and return to Eretz Yisrael. The fact that this is the first time in most of our lives that we cannot travel to Eretz Yisrael only intensifies this mourning and yearning.
Express these emotions constructively.
Strengthen your chelek in Eretz Yisrael and Yerushalayim!
