Four Legs and Fur Animal Society

Countless individuals show their love and care for their canine and feline best friends every day. However, the reality is that not all cats and dogs get the treatment and attention they deserve. To help address this issue, Four Legs and Fur Animal Society was established. We are a nonprofit organization based in Hermitage, Missouri that does the following:

Provide low-cost spaying and neutering services for companion animals
Work with families to rehome their pets
Offer a pet food pantry to help low-income families care for their companion animals
Foster stray/abandoned/seized animals that can be adopted once they’re healthy

As funds permit, we offset the cost of emergency treatment for animals. We also provide a source of emergency supplemental food to ensure that pets aren't surrendered or dumped simply because they can't be fed. Our team assists with rehoming animals when asked, and because we are foster-based, we only take animals for adoption that we can foster.

There are NO paid employees at Four Legs and Fur Animal Society, therefore after the rent and utilities are paid, 100% of the rest of our funds go to the betterment of the lives of our furbabies.

All the work that is accomplished by Four Legs and Fur Animal Society is done strictly by volunteers who graciously donate their time, expertise, and homes to care for these babies.

We are completely funded by donations and local fundraisers, this is why we ask for your help!!
