Many of the low-income parent-body have lost their jobs and income. Many struggle to feed their families and keep a roof over their heads. Some even live under bridges and collect recycling plastic for survival.

The Gauteng Education Department has openly stated that it has no capacity to absorb our pupils. If CityKidz closes, pupils would lose what they consider "home". Where else do you find pupils that dread school holidays and love coming to school?

This cause is so important that we have set an ambitious goal to raise R750,000 by October 28th. Without your help, the future of this institution will remain in jeopardy.

CityKidz is S18A registered, so any donation will be tax deductible, meaning SARS subsidises up to 42% of your contribution.
