Yeshivas Be’er HaTorah was started by Rav Gavriel Yosef Levy shlita in 1993, under the direction of the Gedolei Hador of the time, Rav Shach and Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, ztz”l.  Their directive for the yeshiva was straightforward: To cultivate talmidei chachamim, renowned for both their Torah and Yiras Shamayim, who will become the leaders of the next generation.

Straightforward, but not at all simple. Yet, over the past 28 years, with Hashem’s help, the yeshiva has succeeded in producing over 1,000 graduates who are today marbitzei Torah, serious avreichim, communal leaders, and heads of families who are giving over the strong spiritual foundation they received in yeshiva to the next generation.

Be’er HaTorah alumni are known throughout Eretz Yisrael and the world for their clarity and depth of learning, and for their sense of honesty and responsibility in both their learning and their personal conduct.

For many years, our yeshiva was paying huge sums of money each month to rent our temporary premises, all the while dreaming of purchasing a building of our own.  At last, in 2016, with incredible hashgacha pratis, our dream was fulfilled, and we were zocheh to build our beautiful yeshiva complex in Beit Shemesh.

The building costs for this complex were 8.5 million NIS, of which 5M has already been raised, thanks to tremendous siyata dishmaya.

Now we’re embarking on a fundraising campaign to raise the remaining 3 million NIS.  With the success of this campaign, b’ezras Hashem, and the payment of our remaining building debt, our Rosh Yeshiva, administrators and rabbanim will finally be able to focus on what they do best:  building talmidei chachamim.

Rav Chaim Kanievsky, shlita, has given a rare bracha to all those who donate to this campaign: that they should have strength to learn Torah.

Wouldn’t we all want such a bracha?
